Rev. Hallie Hottle joined us in July of 2023. She, along with her husband, toddler, and pack of three dogs, moved to Castro Valley from Kansas City because of the beautiful and wild work being done at FirstPres. She believes deeply that the Church is called to preach and practice the expansive love of God, which FirstPres is doing every day, in a multitude of ways.

Prior to serving FirstPres, Hallie served as Pastor at Village Presbyterian Church in the Kansas City area, and Miami Shores Presbyterian Church in Miami, FL. She graduated from Princeton Theology Seminary in 2011.

When not working, writing, or chasing a toddler, Hallie enjoys doing anything outside, and is still in disbelief that this wonderful of weather exists. She’d love to hear from you.
