South Hayward
Operating for over 50 years, our mission is to make a difference in our community.
South Hayward Parish has operated as a food pantry serving South Hayward for more than 50 years. In 2019, the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward worked with the Presbytery of San Francisco to ensure this vital community asset could continue, and even expand.
Now, South Hayward Parish continues, operated as the second site of the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward, with expanded services to include a nightly shelter and daily resource center for those experiencing homelessness. Busier and more essential than ever, South Hayward Parish is “home” for 25 unhoused neighbors every night, and is able to be a resource to the community through the dedicated work of staff and volunteers.
